Stine Seed Co. founder Harry Stine has donated nearly $4 million of high-quality seed corn to the Iowa Future Farmers of America. This one-year program will have farmers from across the state purchasing Stine brand seed corn from local FFA chapters. All of the money from this program will go to benefit Iowa FFA members.

Local FFA chapters not participating in the program that would like to place an order to support the FFA Enrichment Center, contact the program coordinators Dan Hansen and Megan Fischer at (712) 249-7277 or e-mail dhansen.ffa(at)gmail.com.

Purchasing seed corn through the FFA offers:
- Eight VT3 hybrids available at the price of only $220
- Fully serviced through the regular Stine sales and agronomic network
- Delivery to the Stine dealer of the farmer's choice
- Hard-sided container delivery available
- Checks can be post-dated until Jan. 1, 2010
A student incentive program has been established through the support of Tractor Supply Co. TSC will donate $5,000 to be awarded to students and chapters who excel with the program. Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will also award 10 $500 scholarships to students participating. For more information, e-mail IowaFFAFound(at)QWestOffice.net.
