Falls City FFA Chapter traveled to the Gage County Fairgrounds in October to participate in the annual Land Judging Contest. Several Falls City High students excelled in the contest, earning ribbons, and one team finished in First Place, earning the right to participate at the State Contest. Laura Stevens, Victoria Vollmer, Jimmy Jarred, and Casey Gerdes earned the first place trophy. Earning individual ribbons were: Purple Ribbons—Laura Stevens, Trevor Campbell, Jared Eickhoff; Blue Ribbons—Casey Gerdes and Jimmy Jarred; earning Red Ribbons—Kyle Rhodd, Cody Guthals and Terri Brown; earning White Ribbons—Lane Merz, Victoria Vollmer and Tyler Way.
